What have you tried in life, and simply were not good at?
But I'm enthusiastic! That has to count for something, right?
Krisco: Singing. I sing anyway, now that I have kids. But it’s so bad that I used to mouth the words in choir, ESPECIALLY if on stage. And anytime, in life, if I forget and sing out loud – forget it. Heads turn, eyebrows raise, uncomfortable silences ensue. My husband makes the “up� or “down� gesture to try to fix things. I can’t even tell that I’m off-key, but apparently it’s annoying to other people.
Jen Lawrence: Singing. I keep thinking, maybe I sound better than I think. But I don't.
Can't play nice. Won't.
Jenny: To be orderly and serene.
Susie Sunshine: Putting up with bullshit and the older I get, the lower my tolerance level.
la Mala: Conforming and doing what is expected of me. Forget the path not taken. I just make a whole new one.
Meghan: Not wanting to backhand Ann Coulter for every inane divisive word she utters and writes.
Well, the good thing is we got to stay an extra week until my leg was out of traction...
Busy Mom: Windsurfing.
Dawn: Waterskiing. HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOO instant enema!
hadashi: skiing. my gosh, what a miserable sport! it involves cold and snow for crying out loud! okay, maybe i should also admit that i have a mental block regarding ball sports probably stemming from my childhood as a very tiny glasses-wearing girl. maybe i'd be good at kickball now, but i'm not going to find out.
Nicole: I grew up in the desert and never tried snow skiing until I was in college. My first day landed me a nasty fall and a trip down the mountain in a ski patrol toboggan. I thought I hurt my knee. Really, I just suck at sports involved water in solid form.
Summer School

Charity: Staying motivated in school.
Holli: I didn't even have to flex the grey matter to figure this one out - that would be MATH. I changed my entire degree to avoid college algebra. I would not have made it in China.
Tonya: Math and being normal. Although I really am going to try to be more normal in 2006

Dishgirl: Riding a tandem bicycle!
mazeway: Motherhood. Having to constantly work at something totally bums me out. Hence, the Lexapro.
Emily G: Most organized sports. I can rollerblade, run, bike, hike, and so on, but as soon as there is a "team" or "points" involved, I automatically am awful at the activity.
Tuesday Girl: Getting two small children to nap. I tried it all, bribing, yelling, threatening, crying. I can't do it. Does anyone have Supernanny's phone number?

Ann Douglas: Fixing cars. One time I put windshield wiper fluid in the break fluid reservoir.
Jory: Getting out of a busy parking lot the first lap around, or without anyone else's assistance.
Erin: Riding in the backseat. Barf city.
Sleepless Mama: Well, I flunked driver's ed when I was fifteen. It was the only class I ever failed. I also was not too good at soccer, but I did try, and went to an absurd number of practices.

Beth: How long do you have?
DaniGirl: Um, how much space do I get here? Only one thing? Okay, I'm going to go with clutter-busting. No matter what I do, I can't conquer the little piles of stuff that congregate all over my house. And office. And car. It's a little out of control.

Carmen: Knitting. I am absolutely horrible. I also fail miserably at dieting and exercise.

Mindy: Singing. Drawing. Being diplomatic and tactful and professional when it is in my best interests to do so.

Elisa Camahort: SO many things. I wasn't good at ice skating as a kid. I'm not good at drawing or any kind of artsy/crafty thing. I'm not good at 3D video games...they make me nauseated, and I find them annoying.I'm not good at throwing, but I'm pretty good at swinging a bat. That's enough. I can't reveal more and let the world know exactly how lame I am.

Sabrina: I thought I'd try crocheting and completely sucked at it. I just couldn't do it. I'm a crafty person for the most part.

Karen: Painting. My husband is an artist, and claims that everyone can paint if only they try. I have proved him wrong. Again.
Margalit Topaz: Drawing. I can't draw to save my life, but I've taken a lot of art classes and I've tried to learn, but the truth is, I suck. I'm just unable to draw anything that looks remotely like what it's supposed to. I have, however, mastered the straight line, and now I'm working on the perfect circle.
Desperate To Be A Housewife: Drawing. I'm thinking of writing a book called "Stick Men for Dummies"

Baseballmom: Golf. I really tried to like it because my husband was into it, but my boobs kept getting in the way. It just sucked and I hated it! No fun at all.
Eulallia: Golf. Stupid, stupid, stupid golf. Why did they make the ball so friggin SMALL?!"
Lauren: Just about any sport requiring the use of a ball. Balls hurt me.
Colin: Sports... However I am quite good at volleyball.

I am so bad at putting on makeup. Like, really bad. But, on the other hand, because I don't wear makeup, I look about 12. So, pluses and minuses on that one.
