Question 7 - Holiday Q&A
Have you finished all your holiday shopping?
Does the shopping really ever end? For the Love of Pete!! MAKE IT STOP!!
Ann Douglas: No. I never really finish. I just run out of time. Usually, I have a stash of spare presents and gift cards on hand, knowing it will ultimately come to this.
MoMMY: Define finished…
Graceful: Yeah...right! I'm about 90% finished.
Busy Mom: Depends on which holiday you're referrring to. Halloween? Got it. Christmas? Not so much.
Jory: For now
Jenijen: Yes. But I may get one more thing for my brother anyway.
Charity: Almost!
Meghan: Only if I am okay with snubbing about seven people.
Pamalamadingdong: not. even. close.
Holli: Perhaps a better question would be "have you started any of your holiday shopping?" Um.. does this disqualify me from being an actual mommy? Hey - Santa did his part. It's Mommy that doesn't have her act together yet.
Jordana: Yes. Or at least, I think so. I'm sure I'll discover someone else I was supposed to buy a gift for an hour before every shop closes on Christmas Eve.
Now she has the right idea!
mazeway: Luckily, Hanukkah comes after Christmas so I get to buy gifts at a discount. Taste it, retail-paying pawns of the Christmas Machine!"
la Mala: Um are you kidding me? That's why I am greatful that Ricans celebrate Three Kings Day so whatever Santa doesn't bring the Reyes can (and at sale prices!!)
Can't....Stop......
DaniGirl: Yes, but no. I have everything I set out to buy, but I continue to acquire stuff. Help, please stop me before I shop again... walking through the mall every single night to catch the bus home from work will bankrupt me at this rate.
EverydaySuperGoddess: And then some, sadly.
Are you freaking kidding me? Here's hoping that Santa takes care of the rest!
Lucinda: Hell, no.
Justice: hm, have i started yet?
hadashi: ha! ha ha ha ha ha!!! that's so funny! we haven't even managed to get the dang tree up yet!
Shut up with all of your effectiveness! You make me feel so inadequate! I loathe you! .... Can I hire you?
"Kathyrn, the daring one: All but the stuffers from the Ho Ho Ho guy. He's a little behind so I'll be helping him out at Wal-merto tomorrow.
Jen Lawrence: Yep. Done and wrapped.
Elisa Camahort: Yup.
Dawn: Yep. But it’s a fluke, really. No master plan here. Except the elusive Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs. I almost had to fight a woman for the last one in Rite Aid today. Are these things made with crack?
Emily G: Of course I have! I fit it in between discovering the cure to the common cold and solving the Middle East Crisis. Tomorrow's to-do list: create world peace and eliminate poverty and hunger.
Just Dawn: Shopped-dropped and rolled...all wrapped and ready...YAY ME!!
Carmen: Yeah. I was finished by October with everything except stocking stuffers.
Margalit Topaz: Yup considering that I did only one brick and morter store. If they don't have it online, I don't want it. That's my new motto.
Clickmom: Yes!!
Melanie Lynne Hauser: Yes!
Sweetney: yes, praise hayzeus. and now i shall take to my bed, insert an IV
drip of soy-nog, and emerge only once the new year comes to pass.
The internet....she is a lovely thing.... I love her. Sniffle. I want to live together forever with my baby fish, Dorothy!
Allison: Yep. Yay Amazon. Didn't leave the house once.
Tonya: Yes, I did it all online because I hate to shop, especially during the holidays. I also keep the number to the liquor store back home in Kansas so I can easily order something for my parents – can’t beat a bottle of Crown!
Shopping makes me want to hurt people
Desperate To Be A Housewife: God yes! You couldn't get me in a mall this week if you offered me a $10,000 shopping spree! Well...ermmm...a whole $10,000? Okay, maybe.
Sour Duck: No one wants to hear about my holiday shopping.
Susan: Define 'finished.' I'm not buying one more damn thing, if that's what you mean.
Karen: Yes. Have I managed to get everyone presents that I intended to. No. So some will go without. MUUWAHAHAHAHAHA.
Lauren: I am recently unemployed. Chrismakkah is canceled. Pink slips for everyone!!
Colin: hahahaha!!! um, no... *has panic attack*
I'm Done! I'm done!.... Oh wait...Crap.....
Jenny: Yes. Mostly. I think. Wait. No.
Beth: Yes! Except, no.
Jamie: Shopping, yes. Still trying to make two gifts. If they don't get finished, it will be time for some last-minute shopping.
Jenn: I promise to start today! Really. I will!
Sabrina: Yeah for everyone BUT OUR KIDS! Everytime we get to the store we bicker on what we each want to get them so it's been several trips of not buying anything!
Eulallia: Yes! I am SO on top of it this year! (But please don't
ask me about my baking. Haven't even started...)
Sleepless Mama: Well, almost. Just a couple more gifts today, and I'll be done.
Nicole: Yes, I think so. Why? Was I supposed to get y'all something?
Tuesday Girl: Yes thank goodness. But nothing is wrapped yet.
Baseballmom: Hell no. I hope to finish by the 24th though...had to wait for the Holiday Bonus Check ya know. Yay, for Holiday Bonus Checks!
Erin: Yes, but DH told me this morning that he's still got time to buy my gifts...Hmmm.
Kris: Yes, but I still have to finalize what I'm giving and what I'm returning. And we still need a ham.

Yes. Bought ONE LAST THING yesterday - my little Princess asked Santa for a puppy. She ain't gettin' it, so I had to get her second choice gift (lest Santa look like a chump): a Furby. Man is it ugly.

As of today: yes. The Lenox store is going out of business and everything is 70-90% off. And, I finished one quilt today and will finish the other tomorrow, but really it's mostly done so I'm counting it.
